final (?) furniture poster---HARDLY, more work to come!

this was the idea I came up with, my wallpaper was used, but not in the same form as I had it before, and I used it minimally. Maybe more wallpaper in the poster????

first tracing of bird design... I'll be playing with this more

One of the first sketches...

I plan on working with this sketch in my wallpaper design. I am not sure as to what I want to do with the birds quite yet, but they will be in my design somewhere... probably as an additive to the background.

Some ideas that I might want to try experimenting with....

I'd like to experiment with some kind of patter/repetition like this.

I liked how this is just different objects and lines being thrown together to make a pattern.

This body art caught my eye, almost like a camouflage.
I like the that the pattern shapes into the form of another object.

A warm day in September...

means I'm thinking, "I really don't want to go to class today!" Summer was just not long enough; at least the nice weather portion of it. Through out the summer you could find me laying in the sun, washing my car to make sure it was always spotless (and to cool off of course), driving around with the windows down feeling that warm breeze, always looking for the perfect swimsuit (I love them), spending days in places like Seattle or Seaside with my boyfriend Brian, pretending to be a rockstar with Guitar Hero or RockBand, going out to happy hour with friends, and of course going to work even though I didn't want to, just to name a few things. Those days have passed, and days filled with homework, studying, stress, dealing with downtown parking, and paying for those stupid parking meters are ahead.

I feel that this term will be challenging for me, however, pretty enjoyable at the same time. I am taking all classes that seem to be more of a choice than that of a requirement (even though they are that too). I have always loved to design/draw/create, and most of the classes I am taking this term fulfill that interest. I look forward to the months ahead and what they will bring, but still long for those simpler summer days.
